A really useful video to show to managers. I’m not quite sure why Simon says, “think of 10 or 15 years”. We are doing this now in Second Life – I certainly have not expereince 30% of students with drastic problems, though poor bandwidth in Britain can reduce a student’s overall enjoyment of SL. Unfortunately bandwith is a political issue not a technical one so I think we have to find ways round it rather than wait for an unspecified amount of time for any problems to be corrected. I hope it’s ok if I Scoop your post so my colleagues can see it – let me know if you are averse to this 🙂

Thank you for your comments timjohnson. I’ve no objections to have my blog entries scooped 🙂 (I’ve scooped this item from someone else myself!). But that is the whole idea – share and share alike so that we have access to as much information as possible. Hopefully we can all then make the right decisions, especially the political ones.
