PRJ702 Update – 21 April 2013

Isn’t it a pleasure to study and practice what you have learned? – Confucius

[Chinese: 孔夫子, transliterated Kong Fu Zi or K’ung-fu-tzu, literally “Master Kong”] (traditionally 28 September 551 B.C. – 479 B.C.) was a Chinese social philosopher, whose teachings deeply influenced East Asian life and thought.

The outline of this post – to save you time reading all the details!

  • Term 2 class in SL – planning to have at least 8 students from the FL class, Intermediate level. Focusing on Listening/Speaking (as this is the BEST use of SL! According to yours truly)
  • The infrastructure – in the process of installing another viewer in the PC Lab. Also in the process of borrowing some laptops, in case option A runs out of time
  • The proposal – for Ascilite 2013 is underway! I really, really, really would like to present in person!
  • The proposal – for a collaboration project is underway! More on this later.
  • The VLENZ meeting in March 2013 – some images for your perusal…

That’s it! I think I’ll write in point form from now on – so much faster!

Here are the pictures from the last VLENZ meeting in March, 2013. Enjoy!
